Safe Access and Containment for Projects Others Consider Too Difficult

Viking Scaffolding Group is a Rhode Island scaffolding company built for the jobs that demand more — more planning, more engineering, and more care for the finished product. We design, deliver, and install commercial scaffolding, industrial scaffolding, and marine scaffolding systems that give your crew safe, stable access at any height.

Beyond access, we build temporary structures, shrink-wrap containment, and weather protection systems that keep work moving through New England's toughest seasons — including sensitive government projects for defense and military facilities.

The Viking standard

Why Choose Viking Scaffolding Group

Shrink-Wrap Expertise Comes First

Containment is not an add-on — it is a core discipline. Our shrink-wrap enclosures are drum-tight, ventilated, and built to survive New England weather.

Built for Difficult Jobs

Height, limited access, live facilities, occupied buildings — the constraints other contractors avoid are the ones we plan around every day.

Scaffolding & Containment From One Team

One crew designs, delivers, and installs both the access and the enclosure, so nothing gets lost between trades.

Experience in Marine & Government Environments

Shipyards, dry docks, and secure government facilities demand discipline. We have supported U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard projects firsthand.

Mobile Project Support

Based in Rhode Island and serving all of New England — with crews and equipment that mobilize nationwide for qualified projects.

Strong Work Ethic & Attention to the Finished Product

We leave sites the way we would want our own name judged: clean lines, tight wrap, safe tie-offs, and a finished product worth photographing.

Disciplined Project Management, Quote to Dismantle

We treat every project like a shipyard job: one accountable lead, a written plan, and clear communication from the first site walk to the final teardown. Progress is tracked against your timeline, so potential issues are addressed before they ever reach the schedule.

How it works

Our Process

  1. 01

Step 1: Tell Us About the Project

Share the structure, the location, and what your crew needs to accomplish. Photos, drawings, or a site walk — whatever you have is enough to start.

  2. 02

Step 2: We Evaluate the Access & Containment Needs

We assess heights, tie-in points, loads, weather exposure, and public protection requirements to define the right scaffolding and containment approach.

  3. 03

Step 3: We Build the Project Solution

Our crew delivers and installs the system — scaffolding, stair towers, platforms, shrink wrap, or a full temporary structure — on an agreed schedule.

  4. 04

Step 4: Your Crew Gets to Work

You get safe, inspected access and a protected work environment. We stay available for modifications, inspections, and a clean takedown when you're done.

About Viking

Built From the Marine Industry for Demanding Projects

Viking Scaffolding Group was founded in Rhode Island by an owner with 11 years of hands-on experience in the marine industry — building access and containment around vessels where tolerances are unforgiving and the environment never cooperates. That shipyard discipline became the foundation of the company.

Supporting U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard projects taught us how to plan carefully, communicate clearly, and finish exactly what we commit to. Today we bring that same standard to commercial, industrial, residential, and government job sites across New England — and to qualified projects anywhere in the United States.
